Editorial Policy
The principles guiding Economic Era journalism.
Accuracy and verification
We aim to verify material facts, distinguish reporting from opinion and correct meaningful errors promptly.
Independence
Editorial judgment is not sold. Sponsored or commercial material will be clearly distinguished from independent editorial coverage.
Sources and transparency
We prefer primary and authoritative sources, attribute information appropriately and disclose important limitations or conflicts where relevant.
Responsible use of technology
Technology may assist research, transcription, drafting, translation or production, but publication remains subject to human editorial review for accuracy, originality, context and usefulness.
Financial coverage
Market and investment coverage should distinguish fact from interpretation, avoid presenting projections as certainty and disclose material limitations. Economic Era does not accept payment for undisclosed favorable coverage.
