Our review
We assess whether the issue changes the accuracy, meaning or fairness of the article. Typographical fixes may be made without a note; material factual changes should be reflected transparently in the article.
Updates and clarifications
Articles may also receive updates when new authoritative information materially improves the reader’s understanding. The updated date is displayed where enabled.
